Can we make it more urgent given environmental consequences?
Without going directly at Milton Friedman’s torture of our economic system in the 70s… we see a different Davos bias forming, one to restore the essence of Adam Smith’s emphasis on contribution through the invisible guiding hand. This philosophy also created an environment for less corporate raiding, poison pills and corporate swashbuckling and contrasts with encouraging businesses to do good while doing well.
Interesting… this coincided with successful long term thriving and success of corporations. Coincidence or not?
